  • Sean Robinson

    CO-FOUNDER & PARTNER

    Sean Robinson attended Howard University from 1990 to 1994 and graduated Cum Laude with dual BBA degrees in Accounting and Finance in May 1994 from the School of Business. He worked at KPMG LLP as an auditor in the Financial Services sector until 1996 and then transitioned to AT&T where he assumed a role as an assistant controller in the International Planning Division until 1997.

    He received a two-year fellowship from the Consortium of Graduate Study in Management to attend the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester where he completed his MBA in 1999 with a concentration in M&A; Corporate Accounting and Finance.

    Following graduation, Sean worked for several years in the investment-banking arena in the telecom and entertainment sector where he earned his Series 7 & 63 Licenses. He re-engineered his career in 2003 and left the investment banking sector to pursue an opportunity in controllership and SEC reporting. He worked for a public company in New Jersey called Cendant (presently Realogy LLC) for approximately four years during which time he passed the CPA exam and became a Certified Public Accountant in June 2005. He is currently licensed in three states (California, Florida, and New York) and the district of Washington, D.C.

    Afterwards, Sean worked in various roles at Citigroup from 2007 through 2016 in Venture Capital (2007 - 2011), Accounting Policy (2011 - 2013), N.A. Controllers (2013 - 2014), and Liquidity Reporting Controllers as head of the division (2014 - 2016). He held a role as an adjunct professor in the Accounting Department for Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, NY (2010 - 2012). In late 2016, he left Citigroup and started his own Accounting Services firm called Tebaja Consulting LLC, which provides CFO & Controller support for start-ups and private equity clients, with a focus on Minority & Women-Owned Business Enterprises. In 2019, he was the Senior Controller and CFO for a $5.0 Billion hedge fund called Infinity Q Capital Management which specialized in esoteric derivative investing on behalf of its clients.

    Finally, In January 2022, Sean started a Venture Capital Fund with Three (3) other Co-Founders called Radix Innovation Capital Fund, LLC. It is a $40 million Fund that supports and partners with Founders and

  • Terrence Battle

    CO-FOUNDER & PARTNER

    Terrence Battle is a former founder, entrepreneur, and Venture Capitalist hailing from Washington, D.C. After the former All-American track athlete graduated from Morehouse College, he set his sights on entertainment. Terrence has worked for multiple labels such as Universal, Capitol, and Sony Music, and facilitated projects by the likes of India Arie, David Banner, Carl Thomas, and Dallas Austin. After a decade in the music business, he decided to help start a boutique advertising firm. Within three years, that $50,000 investment along with sweat equity was billing over three million a year before being sold in 2015. As an angel and real estate investor, this Atlanta 30 under 30 recipient is a HBCU Venture Capital Fellow, as well as the co-owner of Lincoln Park Studios, a 123,000 sq ft entertainment production studio and office space located in Atlanta, GA. Terrence eventually joined Metaprop VC as an Investment Associate, one of the top Proptech VC firms in the country. MetaProp’s investment team has invested in 150+ technology companies across the real estate value chain. The firm manages multiple funds for both financial and strategic real estate investors that represent a pilot-and test-ready sandbox of 20+ billion square feet across every real estate asset type and global market.

  • Cheryl King

    CO-FOUNDER & PARTNER

    Cheryl King is an experienced CPA accounting professional with extensive experience in internal and external financial reporting, including public accounting, audits, personal income tax, internal controls, government accounting, and internal audits. She has deep knowledge in managing the financial reporting process, business management, and operations, particularly for start-ups and companies in the hypergrowth phase. Her expertise also includes policy and procedure implementation, Defense Contract reporting, and compliance.

    Prior to joining Radix, Cheryl was an angel investor and founded an accounting firm focused on early-stage businesses in the media and entertainment space. Previously, she served as Controller at Platinum HRM and as an Accounting Manager at Concord Music Group and DreamWorks Animation. Cheryl has also spent six years in public accounting, specializing in both tax and audit.

    Cheryl received her BA from California State University, Fullerton’s Mihaylo College of Business and Economics.

  • Jamal Trotman

    CO-FOUNDER & PARTNER

    Jamal Trotman is an accomplished professional with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Morehouse College, where he graduated with honors. He has built a successful career spanning real estate investments and product development within the tech industry.

    Jamal's entrepreneurial journey began with the founding of a real estate investment firm focusing on sales, acquisitions, and strategic tech investments. His expertise in real estate management has facilitated transactions totaling millions of dollars in assets under management.

    Transitioning into the tech sector, Jamal gained valuable experience in product development, where he excelled in enhancing product strategies and driving growth. His passion for innovation and strategic leadership has been pivotal in his career progression.

    In 2022, Jamal co-founded Radix Innovation Capital Fund, LLC, an early stage instatutional venture capital fund supporting diverse founders and investors at the Pre-Seed or Early stage. His dedication to fostering inclusivity and innovation has been recognized through his participation in prestigious programs such as VCUnlocked at Stanford University, sponsored by 500 Global.

    Outside of his professional endeavors, Jamal is actively involved in community service as a member of the Atlanta Rotaract Club and serves on the boards of Summer Search NYC and the Eagle Academy Alumni Association.
